When?

Holding WorldSkills 2013 from 2 - 7July is the ideal time.

Summer holidays in Saxony starts a week later – and the last week of the school year is traditionally used for projects and excursions. This is an ideal time for school partnerships programs as well as for the planned company partnerships, company training centres, vocational schools and trainer forums. The warm summer weather and beautiful surroundings will ensure a positive atmosphere for the entire Competition.

Reaching a wide audience
Generally, summer holidays in Germany are from mid July to the end of August – meaning that the Competition will reach a wide audience, including the majority of employees in companies. In contrast, at the end of the holiday period, the focus tends to be on the new school and training year.

Summertime in Germany is wonderful. So we will have a good possibility to enjoy the time.
