Adopting the Mission

Germanys bid is based on the WorldSkills mission.

WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 will make a significant contribution to promoting this mission, inspiring youth and taking skills to the world, by

  • Making WorldSkills the international voice for the promotion of skills
  • Inspiring youth to aspire to skills for achievement and excellence
  • Promoting understanding of the benefits of skills for personnel success and happiness
  • Building on advocacy work already undertaken by SkillsGermany, the Organizing Committee will not only deliver a spectacular Competition, but ensure that it brings the skills message to audiences far beyond Germany’s borders – and brings lasting benefits to all involved. The slogan Made in Germany underlines the key messages of the proposal, but will also supports the event nationally and internationally.
