Saxony and Central Germany

Leipzig and Saxony have long been a hub of continental trade in the centre of Europe. The Saxon economy is also one of the most dynamic in Gemrany, its leading position being boosted by hightech industries, the automotive industry and mechanical engineering. In recent years, many companies have decided to locate in Saxony because of teh availability of highly qualified specialists and because of our modern infrastructure  and our lean, efficient administration. The Saxon location policy has been a great success: Some 6,000 companies have opened offices, sites and plants in Saxony since 1990.
