WorldSkills Germany currently unites the commitment and ideas of over 60 partners: companies, associations and private individuals. It has coordinated all skills activities in Germany since it was founded in 2006 and represents Germany, an exporting nation with a dual vocational training system, at the WorldSkills Competition.

WorldSkills Foundation shares with WSI its research and advocacy objectives related to strengthening and growing competitions as a means of promoting skills nationally, regionally and globally. The Foundation places an emphasis in the way it works on appealing to and encouraging young people to understand the benefits of skills, to enhance their skills and advocate for skills in their own countries and regions around the world.
